This article is dedicated to some of the crazy outfits that Salsa dancers have come to believe to be acceptable or even fashionable merely because they see themselves as dancers.

Where did they get the idea that the following is acceptable attire?

• white berets
• stupid hats in general
• wide trousers with stringy bits
• jeans with LOTS of holes
• see through shirts
• wife beaters
• bandanas (aaaarrrrrrr, I'm a pirrrrrate!!!)
• bandanas with hats
• sleeveless shirts

[edit] Women

• skimpy dresses that should not be worn past the age of 25 or if you're Mariah Carey with small tits (in a music video with LOTS of digital enhancements)
• wide trousers with stringy bits
• funky hats
• hoop earrings
• super short skirts without having the figure for it
